Program
Overwhelmed by the weight of all that can go wrong in the world?
Let’s do something good.

Just Us Doing Good is an eight week coached video program for those who want to do a specific good but are not sure how to start.

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”
Coretta Scott King
How many of us have been a part of well-meaning groups trying to do good that spend valuable time spinning in circles? Probably all of us. We have do-good hearts and either get overwhelmed by the thought of fixing a huge problem (i.e. climate change) and never join a group, or we join the group and can’t decide what to do to make a difference. We waste our precious time debating recycling verses composting. Let's do something...
Just Us…Doing Good encourages individuals overwhelmed by the weight of conflict and violence in the world to take small steps toward doing something good with others for their local community. Our eight-week program guides the good hearted into action in an area of their choice. Step by small step they will gather a few others, choose a micro-goal and make progress using actionable stages toward their “good.” With video and live support, participants are surprised how much they can accomplish in just eight weeks.
Modeled off of youth sports, where kids get to try soccer for 8 weeks and see how it goes, Just Us Doing Good will help you identify and accomplish a micro-goal in just 8 weeks (or sessions if you would rather take more time). Then you decide whether there is more to do on that project or if you want to move on.
Let's do something...

“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
Vincent Van Gogh

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
Mother Teresa
In just eight weeks you will learn through easy manageable steps to identify a micro-goal, gather some teammates and do something good! You become the team captain (meaning you can press play on a video) and we’ll be your coach. You’ll receive video training before you begin and live support along the way. Every week (or stage… meet monthly if you want) you’ll receive an easy to follow how-to video guiding you step by step toward doing something good for your community. Let's do something...

It's the small things that add up to make a difference! What are you passionate about? What needs attention in your neighborhood? Who is being overlooked? What small change will make a big difference?
Maybe .... You care deeply about the earth and are worried about what’s going to happen. You can stay frozen in fear or you can do something that matters to your community. Set a micro-goal to encourage one gas station owner to install fume reducers on the gas nozzles. We can help you do something.
Maybe.... You believe public education is important to the future of society and fear children are not getting what they deserve. Feel stuck? Set a micro-goal to introduce a new school district policy eliminating lead from the drinking fountains. We can help you do something.
Maybe ... You want your neighborhood to feel safe and cozy, but one intersection has so many car accidents sending anxiety throughout. Feel helpless? Set a micro-goal to get a stop sign installed and we will help you make progress toward that good.
Your micro-goals will change as the program progresses.
Your good action will make a difference. Do something!
Just Us Doing Good works best when you are seeking a policy change or a physical item introduced. Something tangible. Every problem has tangible solutions and we will help you identify your micro-goal. What are you waiting for? The good isn’t going to happen without your involvement.
Let's do something...

“Try to develop your courage with smaller things. If someone wants to pick up 100 lbs, they start by picking up 5 lbs, and then build up their muscles. It’s the same with courage.”
Maya Angelou
Take the first step and sign up. We’ll be with you for the rest of the journey.
